Lingua overturns roles, inviting the audience to leave their traces on a body that becomes canvas, cave, and womb for a language that slips through — a tool for translating the unspeakable, an echo of collective micromovements, bearer of a singular and shared identity in which ancient affinities can be recognized.
Lingua is a performance that creates a relationship with the audience through a body that becomes a territory to explore with the gaze, carrying both a singular and shared identity. The artist invites the audience to perform the real action of writing on her skin, in a collective linguistic ritual of transmission that affirms the role of the body and the performative act: to be a bridge, an instrument of interaction, a weaving of connections, a meeting with the other.

Chiara Ameglio (1986) graduated from the Scuola Civica Paolo Grassi (Milan). She develops her choreographic research at the intersection of body, dramaturgy, and costume design. She leads performative and interdisciplinary projects for the creation of shows, participatory performances, and site-specific works, including in socially inclusive contexts.
