ZAFFERANA ETNEA
THE FESTIVAL
Teatri Riflessi is a festival consisting of several actions aiming at promoting the performing arts. At its heart is a short performance competition focused on live works no longer than 15 minutes and without distinction of genre. Since its first edition in 2009, the festival has been leveraging the immediacy of the short format to address a large and heterogeneous audience with contemporary art languages: dance and theatre works, books, laboratories for kids, workshops, discussions, installations and site-specific performances.

THE COMPETITION
The International Short Performance Competition brings to Zafferana Etnea companies from all over the world to discuss together with spectators, theatre and festival directors, journalists and critics from Italy and abroad. The semifinals on Thursday and Friday allow the boards to select the 5 finalists that perform again on Saturday.
21 July
ANTICORPI XL
On Sunday 21 the spotlight is on young auteur dance with a selection of Italian works from the actions promoted by the Anticorpi XL Network. Two works from the Vetrina della giovane danza d’autore 2023 and one of the winners od the Danza Urbana XL 2024 call will premiere in Sicily.

This metaphorical foyer welcomes you to the festival with books, laboratories for kids, workshops, forums, video installations, performative paths, and an exhibition area to get to know the territory.
Contemporary Visions CONVERSATIONS IN SICILY
A Sicilian tour to display works from Italian and international artists in beautiful places, merging several arts with the landscape.
