The day after is the collapse of what you believed to be true, when the body feels like a bombed-out city. This internal conflict expresses itself through a repeating pattern that reproduces mechanically, before it becomes an act of conscious decision. In its attempt to find balance between legacy and what is consciously chosen, the body seems trapped within the repetition of movement.
In this short-duration choreographic solo, the performer meets himself amid the ruins. A sculpted bust of his head watches him, inviting him to rescue himself from the debris. The weight of the bust alters his movement, pushing him into a pendulum that swings from side to side, trapping the body within life’s polarities.
Video projection brings the audience close to the dusty body of the performer and his subtle gestures, while the recorded narration reaches their ears like a personal confession.

Harry (1988) worked as a dancer with Alexandra Waierstall in Germany (2011–2023) and, as a young choreographer, was supported by European networks Aerowaves and Modul-dance (2013). He has presented his personal work at major venues including Onassis Stegi and Greek National Opera, and teaches his own improvisation method, leading workshops at universities across Europe and Asia.
