SOMEWHERE stems from a reflection on the spaces we inhabit and how they influence human relationships, amplifying loneliness and emptiness. Starting from a research on heterotopias (non-places) Guarino and Romano explore the relational mechanisms activated within these environments, which today, by their very nature, foster alienation, individualism, speed, desolation, depersonalization, and noise.
Parallel bodies brush against each other, search for one another, and recognize themselves in a fragile attempt to build a shared language. Somewhere, anywhere.
