No

Annalisa Limardi
Italy
15 minutes

‘No’ explores the difficulty of establishing personal boundaries. In the piece, a microphone embodies the world’s endless attempt to pose extenuating questions to the performer, assaulted by increasingly invasive requests. Only by standing up to such questions can she define herself as a subject and start making her voice heard.
