Empty what you can to sharpen your focus and hear better. Now the body can be better tamed, the existing forms can be rearranged.
The starting point is simple: at the centre is a body that wants to move. The vocabulary of dance expression and reflection on the process is created through construction and deconstruction, through the invention of mechanisms for generating movement, through manipulation and variation, and is inspired by the music.
The solo reflects the attempt to interrupt and play with the body’s regular physical and imaginary logic in order to find and concretise its poetic capacity.

Premiere at the Kelim Festival 2023 under the artistic direction of Ayala Frenkel and Nataly Zukerman.
Mica is a choreographer, director, and performer based in Berlin. Her artistic practice brings together visual and movement-based languages, weaving between dance, visual theatre, and performance art. Her performances are characterised by hybrid forms, combining rigorous choreographic research with visual and sonic experimentation to create multisensory experiences.
Mica graduated from The School of Visual Theater in 2019 and received the Mayor’s Excellence Award. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Solo/Dance/Authorship (SODA) at HZT – Berlin University of the Arts.
Her works have been showcased at DOCK 11 (Berlin), Officine CAOS (Turin), the Akko Festival (where she won four awards), Hazira Theater, the Tel Aviv Dance Festival, the Intimadance Festival, the International Puppet Train Theater Festival, and SoloCoreografico (Germany, where she won the Best Creation Award), among other venues. She has participated in various residencies and programs, such as P.A.R.T.S. / Rosas (Brussels, 2023), Tanzmainz company (Germany, 2024), Kelim Center (2022–2024), and Mamuta Center (2022–2023), and has received various grants for her work.
