“Tilt” is a relational performance-experiment. The tilted body of the performer, traversing a plane that is itself inclined, demands the presence of the spectators, in a mutual and authentic physical attunement. The audience is called to make a choice of responsibility regarding a delicate state of balance to be created and maintained, within the subtlety of a ‘tuning to stretch from (and lean towards)’ continuously for a possible shared movement.
Are you willing to support the other’s weight with great care? How much is it necessary to hold back and how much to let go of one’s own and the other’s weight for the relationship of mutual support to work?
