The talk promotes a reflection on representation, representativeness, and accessibility in the contemporary scene, starting from the works viewed: Lampyris Noctiluca by Aristide Rontini and Suspended Chorus by Silvia Gribaudi. The meeting is part of a broader process of reflection on contemporary engagement: To whom do the performing arts speak today? Who can participate? Which perspectives and voices find space, and which find less, within the national and international scene?

Greta Pieropan likes to define herself as “the friendly neighborhood dramaturg.” She works as a dance dramaturg with artists, collectives, and communities. For her, dramaturgy is a relational practice that generates context, listening, and accessibility. She is also a professional shapeshifter: from dramaturgy in the rehearsal room to project development and documentation, from moderating public conversations to workshops, and from digital to traditional communication for the live stage, all the way to projects on dance and health — she is always behind the scenes, ready to support the international dance scene.
