AGNESE CANICATTÌ
Pezzi” is a video installation that explores the fragmentation and transformation of the body as a metaphor for the human condition. Through images evoking loss, care, and recomposition, the project tells the story of a journey toward a new form of unity—no longer original, but changed, complex, and deeply human.
The metamorphosis here becomes both a biological process and a psychic experience, inscribed in the natural cycles of life, growth, and decay. This concept finds its home in the project “Abbiamo tutto, Manca il resto” by Farm Cultural Park, a place of regeneration and experimentation, where the fragmented identity of the body intertwines with that of the place itself: both composed of pieces, partial visions, and interventions that together build a new landscape, both inner and collective.
In this dialogue, space and artwork merge, revealing the fragile beauty of change.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with various companies, including ADC and Artemis Danza, and participated in intensive programs with Tanz Company Elio Gervasi, Yuval Pick, Sasha Waltz, and Gruppo Nanou, among others. She has deepened her knowledge of different choreographic languages, such as those of Compagnia Zappalà Danza, the Gaga movement language, and Floorwork technique, enriching her research and developing a personal vocabulary that combines fluidity and experimentation.
She has taken part in choreographic projects such as Solo Goldberg by Virgilio Sieni and the IN C repertoire by Sasha Waltz & Guests, as well as performing in the premiere of Voice Over by Paola Bianchi and the project OLO by Florencia Demestri & Samuel Lefeuvre.
Co-founder, co-author, and dancer of the collective Cortile Zagara, she created the project Symbiosis, which won the Best Dance Dramaturgy Award at the Teatri Riflessi 2022 festival.
She was selected as an emerging artist for the project Abbiamo tutto, Manca il resto with her work Pezzi at Farm Cultural Park.
