CHIARA CAPIZZI
This work is born from the collaboration between two artists, Chiara Capizzi (dancer and choreographer) and Toya Akpinar (video artist), both born on an island.
The videodance piece is based on the eponymous performance (IS)LAND created by Chiara. Through a grotesque vocabulary, the performer explores the psychological impact of isolation, delving into nissology and the autobiographical experience of being born and raised on an island.
