CCC – Creative Contemporary Body (Corpo Creativo Contemporaneo) was born as an archival tribute to the Milanese festival “Più che Danza,” with the intention of bringing back, in an auteur montage of just a few minutes, the diverse aesthetic, political, and cultural lines and explorations that our body has worn and expressed through international dance. We have gathered images and steps, bodies in motion or listening, from works and choreographers of different countries to represent how our body is always and in any case the instrument that embodies our time, our hopes, and our disillusions, impulses and downfalls that tell us the importance of being and living in the present: “Make yourselves coeval with your century…” as another Milanese, Giovanni Berchet, reminded us.
