Piazza Kennedy, Zafferana Etnea (CT)
FREE ENTRY
curated by IterCulture and the community
The flowerbed is conceived as a circular space of care, exchange, and connection. A small public spot where greenery becomes an invitation to pause, meet, and share time, thoughts, and acts of attention. It is a public space where you can sit, read a book from the Bookcrossing box, take home an aromatic twig, or simply linger and observe the traces that it will slowly collect. The flowerbed is also a living space that opens itself to small collective gestures. It was created thanks to IterCulture’s associates, who imagined and built a place open to the community. It also preserves the creative outcomes of a workshop carried out with the Istituto Comprensivo De Roberto in Zafferana Etnea—a shared journey aiming to spark reflection on the relationship between nature, public space, and community. The flowerbed is inaugurated as part of the Zafferana Etnea Book Festival, inviting visitors to exchange connections, ideas, and books, activating the space through their presence.
